The elders of Laurel Ave. Church of Christ are looking for a full time minister to work with a well established New Testament congregation. Current attendance is between 55-60 people attending regularly each Sunday. We also have an active youth group every Sunday and being taught by our Christian members of the church. Our existing minister will be leaving us this year to do a line of work in a different field due to health reasons.

We record each Sunday messages and now using Facebook for live streaming each Sunday. We have our sound booth in the back of our auditorium and large TV screens in front that are used for our worship services, announcements, and the minister’s sermon outlines.

Our sanctuary has been completely renovated inside with new paint, new carpet, and new chairs and not pews. We also have a blended service each Sunday with some contemporary music and hymns.

We would like for all candidates to send a resume of where the ministers learned their bible teaching, accomplishments of past churches where they served. A plan to reach out in our community to those who are lost and to edify the saints to stay faithful to God.
