| Description of Position/Benefits/Church: | Calvary Chapel Wilmington is a Christian church located in southeast North Carolina near the Cape Fear River and about two hours north of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The City of Wilmington has a population of 120,000 and is known for its beautifully pristine beaches including Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, and Kure Beach. Calvary Chapel Wilmington is a growing church and currently has 120 regular attendees. Our common focus and supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Calvary Chapel Wilmington is seeking a qualified worship leader who is Spirit-led and has a heart and passion for leading our congregation into the presence of God through worship. Under the direction of the Senior Pastor, the worship leader will play a key role in developing and implementing a dynamic worship program. This position is an excellent opportunity for a young adult to make a positive impact. We expect the worship leader to bring fresh ideas, incorporate current worship music, and have the ability to recruit, draw in and mentor new worship team members from within the congregation as well as outside. The Calvary Chapel Wilmington board of directors is currently finalizing a compensation package and benefits for this position.
