WAYS TO SUPPORT MID-ATLANTIC CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY

MID-ATLANTIC SOCIETY – The Mid-Atlantic Society is committed to the university’s mission to impact the world by transforming ordinary people into extraordinary Christian leaders. Society Members pledge to support the university with a minimum gift of $3 a day or $1,000 per year. Click here for more information

GENERAL FUND GIFTS – Mid-Atlantic values each giver and gift of the university. Every gift, large and small, is multiplied when given in faith through love. Finances given to support the university enable us to provide a superior education to students, attract and retain excellent faculty, and maintain facilities and an environment that is conducive to fulfilling our mission as a Christian university.

MATCHING FUND GIFTS – Many companies will match the financial gifts of their employees to non-profit organizations. If your company offers a matching gift program, you can double or even triple the impact of your gift. Just obtain the necessary forms from your employer (human resources), complete it and send in with your gift.

LIVING TRUST SEMINAR—MACU offers a free living trust seminar to you and your congregation. We partner with Financial Planning Ministries to provide estate planning services, including creating wills and living trusts. Contact the advancement office for information or to schedule a seminar.

GIFTS OF STOCK – A gift of stock is advantageous for multiple reasons. There are two very attractive benefits for stocks that have been held for over a year and have increased in value. Not only can you avoid the capital gains tax, but you also receive a charitable deduction for the full stock value if you transfer the ownership of the stock to MACU. After the transfer of ownership, MACU will liquidate the stock.

REAL-ESTATE OR TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY – Mid-Atlantic can accept gifts of real estate, allowing you to make a charitable deduction for the donated property.

ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS – Named in honor or memory of a loved one, endowed scholarships grow in value each year and provide a perpetual source of aid for students, as well as a permanent honor to the individual named in the fund. Contact the advancement office for more information.

Contact Advancement

The Office of Institutional Advancement serves as the university’s chief advancement office, supporting our strategic direction and mission. The office is overall responsible for major gifts, annual gifts, planned giving, marketing, communications, and public relations. Through the support of our financial partners, MACU can train and equip students for ministry in the church and the marketplace.

As a private Christian University, MACU relies upon the gifts of churches and individuals to help us accomplish our mission of educating the next generation of extraordinary Christian leaders. Your prayers and giving empower us. As you invest in Christian education, know your investment will yield eternal dividends.

Your financial support enables the university to educate, mentor, and equip students with the intellectual, spiritual, and professional skills needed to engage and change the world.

Thank you for being a valued partner of Mid-Atlantic Christian University.
