Responsibilities and Duties
As the Student Minister, you will play a key role in shaping the spiritual lives of middle and high school students by:
Designing and leading engaging weekly programming that helps students understand, love, and grow in their faith.
Teaching and mentoring teens toward spiritual maturity through Scripture, relationship-building, and intentional discipleship.
Proactive communication with students and their families.
Recruiting, equipping, and creating a volunteer culture who serve as mentors and partners in ministering to students.
Planning and directing impactful events, including retreats, service projects, and mission trips.
Partnering with parents and guardians by offering tools and guidance to help them disciple their teens at home.
Showing up in students’ lives by attending extracurricular activities, celebrations, and other moments that matter.
Collaborates closely with the Senior and Executive Ministers to research, recommend, and select curriculum that supports students' spiritual growth.
Working with all pastoral staff on vision, church-wide events, and strategic ministry initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

Park Springs Christian Camp is a place where lives are changed, friendships are formed, and faith grows. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to step into a hands-on, mission-driven role that blends leadership, service, and a love for camp life.
What You’ll Be Doing
This role is at the heart of everything that happens on the campgrounds, from the big picture vision to the everyday details.
You’ll lead the daily operations of the camp, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. You’ll collaborate with retreat leaders and camp deans to create meaningful, spiritually enriching experiences. You’ll also serve as a bridge between the camp and the supporting churches, sharing updates, building relationships, and helping grow the ministry.
You’ll oversee facilities, grounds, and maintenance, keeping everything clean, functional, and ready for guests. From managing repairs and supervising staff to coordinating volunteers and summer teams, you’ll be in the middle of it all.
This role also includes organizing registrations, handling camper logistics, managing waivers and insurance, and ensuring smooth transitions between groups. You’ll guide kitchen operations, assist with meal planning (and even cook for smaller retreats), and oversee the camp canteen.
Beyond daily operations, you’ll help promote the camp year-round, organize workdays, support fundraising efforts, and manage a budget averaging $250,000, with care and integrity.
And yes, you’ll even help oversee the climbing tower, zipline, and a 61,000-gallon pool!!! (training and certification included where needed)

About Fair Haven
Fair Haven Christian Church sits on the southernmost part of Johnson County, about 35 minutes south of Indianapolis. The church began about 75 years ago in the rural community of Trafalgar. God has blessed the church with sustained growth; currently, the church has around 650 in attendance on Sunday morning, which includes about 110 children. While the church’s physical address is in the city of Franklin, Fair Haven is in the Trafalgar community. Our community is growing, and we have the vision to be ready for the new people God is calling us to reach with the gospel. We view children’s ministry as a priority for Fair Haven. We have a history of prioritizing money and space for children to ensure the ministry can thrive. Each Sunday, Fair Haven has three identical worship services. In order to accommodate our growing community, we are preparing to break ground on a new worship center.
Responsibilities
• Overseeing all children’s ministry (birth-5th grade) programming and facilities to ensure church alignment and excellence.
• Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling 60-80 volunteers per week
• Lead children’s ministry events like VBS, trunk or treat, retreats, camp session, etc.

What You’ll Be Doing
This role is at the heart of everything that happens on the campgrounds, from the big picture vision to the everyday details.
You’ll lead the daily operations of the camp, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. You’ll collaborate with retreat leaders and camp deans to create meaningful, spiritually enriching experiences. You’ll also serve as a bridge between the camp and the supporting churches, sharing updates, building relationships, and helping grow the ministry.
You’ll oversee facilities, grounds, and maintenance, keeping everything clean, functional, and ready for guests. From managing repairs and supervising staff to coordinating volunteers and summer teams, you’ll be in the middle of it all.
This role also includes organizing registrations, handling camper logistics, managing waivers and insurance, and ensuring smooth transitions between groups. You’ll guide kitchen operations, assist with meal planning (and even cook for smaller retreats), and oversee the camp canteen.
Beyond daily operations, you’ll help promote the camp year-round, organize workdays, support fundraising efforts, and manage a budget averaging $250,000, with care and integrity.
And yes, you’ll even help oversee the climbing tower, zipline, and a 61,000-gallon pool!!! (training and certification included where needed)

About Fair Haven
Fair Haven Christian Church sits on the southernmost part of Johnson County, about 35 minutes south of Indianapolis. The church began about 75 years ago in the rural community of Trafalgar. Northside Christian Church is currently looking for NextGen Children’s Ministry Coordinator. We are a growing multi-generational, multi-campus church averaging over 1100 in person attendance. Our main campus is in Wadsworth, OH and our second campus is in Medina, OH. Northside’s mission is to Love God, Serve Others and Win One. We desire to hire a dynamic leader with an educational background that will enhance NextGen Children’s ministry initiatives. He/She will work alongside of the Children’s Director providing support and leadership for NextGen ministry at our main campus. This individual will be the primary lead to our volunteer teams, assist with our discipleship development, and manage our database. They will also support our NextGen events, social media and first-time family engagement. The NextGen Children’s Ministry Coordinator will have the opportunity to serve alongside a fantastic team who works together well and enjoys making disciples who make disciples!

Northside Christian Church is currently looking for Discipleship and Outreach Pastor. We are a growing multi-generational, multi-campus church averaging over 1100 in person attendance. Our main campus is in Wadsworth, OH and our second campus is in Medina, OH. Northside’s mission is to Love God, Serve Others and Win One. We desire to hire a dynamic leader with a bachelor’s degree in Bible & Theology and at least five years’ experience who is a model of Christian character (excellence, integrity, people driven, on mission).
He will be the primary communicator and vision caster for all small groups, classes, and outreach events at our main campus. This individual will oversee our guest assimilation process and should also be able to preach as needed. The Discipleship Pastor will have the opportunity to serve alongside a fantastic team of pastors and staff who work together well and enjoy making disciples who make disciples!
