SUMMARY:               Effective Preaching of God’s Word; Commitment to teaching Scriptures Effective Preaching of God’s Word; Commitment to teaching Scriptures and theological concepts:  Attracting and building membership; Spiritual                                   and theological concepts:  Attracting and building membership; Spiritual development of members; Commitment to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ); Building a sense of fellowship and community

DUTIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Preach at Sunday services
• Provide counseling as needed to those who desire it
• Assist and participate in annual activities
• Attend scheduled church services and fellowships
• Promote understanding of the Gospel by working with church members
• Provide input, direction and assistance with special programs
• Advise elders of any special problems, issues or conflicts with the congregation
• Minister to congregational members in crisis situations
• Work with the family to handle the funerals of members
