Welcome to The Church in Athens, a small congregation in Athens, Ohio, seeking a Spirit-led minister to assist our congregation with discipleship and outreach. We value the things that God holds to be important, especially making disciples, and are looking for a leader with a heart for people and a passion for proclaiming the Gospel.

Key Responsibilities:
Preach informative, engaging sermons that are based on the sound doctrine of the Scriptures.
Help provide compassionate care, counseling, and spiritual guidance to members.
Assist in leading worship services, collaborating with worship team.
Foster community engagement and outreach.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in pastoral ministry, preaching, and leadership.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A genuine love for people and a commitment to spiritual growth.

Compensation & Benefits:
Open to negotiation; but includes a parsonage as part of the compensation package.
