Elizabeth City, NC – March 17, 2015.
Mid-Atlantic Christian University has been ranked 18th among the top 30 colleges and universities for students to study Psychology or Counseling. This ranking by Best Psychology Degrees was determined by studying selective small colleges and universities with an undergraduate population of 3,000 students or less that offer a bachelor’s degree in counseling or a specialized counseling area. Only schools with a current accreditation were reviewed. The institutions selected were required to offer a bachelor’s degree in counseling or a specialized counseling area, have less than 3,000 students, and be a public or private non-profit 4 year college.
The 30 most selective schools were based on the percentage of students admitted and the number of degrees conferred in the area of counseling.
