MACU Ranked 14th Among Top 100 Baccalaureate Colleges in Nation

Elizabeth City, NC – August 27, 2015. For the fourth consecutive year, Mid-Atlantic Christian University has been listed in the top 100 Baccalaureate Colleges in the nation by Washington Monthly.  Mid-Atlantic Christian University has been ranked 14th in the 2015 Washington Monthly’s list of college rankings. The Washington Monthly’s ranking identifies colleges and universities based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility (recruiting and graduating low-income students), research (producing cutting-edge scholarship) and service. They stated, “Our rankings aim to identify institutions that are acting on behalf of the true public interest.”

In 2015, MACU was also recognized among the top 100 colleges in the Southeast as “The Best Bang for the Buck” by Washington Monthly. MACU was ranked 96th among the top 100 schools in this category. This ranking is based upon the “net” cost of attending, graduation rates and student loan repayment.

Mid-Atlantic Christian University is proud of its 67 year history and the impact her alumni have made and continue to make around the world.
