MACU Rally – Special Service Project!

Mar 9, 2012 | General Info, News

We will be having a special service project during this year’s MACU Rally.  We will be collecting items for the HER (Help and Emergency Response) Shelter serving the cities of Chesapeake and Portsmouth in Virginia.  Alumna Beth Cross is the executive director of the HER Shelter.  If you are coming to the Rally, we ask that you might bring a few items from the HER Shelter wish list, which can be found here.  Beth will have a booth here on Friday and you can drop off the items at the HER Shelter booth.  Thanks for helping!  If you live in the Hampton Roads area, please contact Beth to see how you and your church might be able to get involved with the shelter.

Some of the events duiring this year’s Rally will be outdoors (like some of the concerts and carnival games).  You might want to pack a lawn chair and/or blanket for outdoor seating.  There will be some limited seating available.

See you next week!
