Mid-Atlantic Christian University is pleased to announce that Dr. Barbara Williams, Associate Professor of Teacher Education, has been chosen by her peers to be MACU’s 2012-2013 Teacher of the Year.
Dr. Williams was particularly praised for the work she has done in establishing the elementary education program as a teacher licensure program. This program will witness its first graduates at May commencement service.
Dr. Williams will be acknowledged with this award on Tuesday, April 23rd at 5:00 p.m. here on the MACU campus when the Elizabeth City Area Chamber of Commerce honors teacher of the year designees from across the area. The public is welcome to attend this recognition service in the Albert Blanton III Campus Life Center here at MACU.
