Elizabeth City, NC – November 9, 2015.  Mid-Atlantic Christian University has been listed as one of the top colleges and universities in North Carolina by Best Value Schools.  The schools were ranked according to graduation rates, net price to attend, acceptance rate, and twenty-year net return on investment (pay scale).  Statistics were gathered from College Navigator for all colleges and universities.

The Best Value Schools noted that “No one college is perfect but this ranking offers you a premier selection of universities to help get you started on your search for an education in North Carolina.”  Dr. D. Clay Perkins, MACU President, stated that “North Carolina is home to many excellent public and private universities and I am honored that MACU would be included among the top colleges and universities in the state. “

Mid-Atlantic Christian University was established by George W. Bondurant as Roanoke Bible College in 1948 to address a shortage of educated and trained ministers for churches in Northeastern North Carolina and Southeast Virginia.  MACU continues to offer a superior education for those who desire to serve Christ in the church as well as those who want a faith-based education that prepares them for vocations and service in the marketplace.
