MACU Inducts New Members into a National Honor Society

Alpha Mu Alpha, the local chapter at Mid-Atlantic Christian University of the national honor society Theta Alpha Kappa, inducted new members on September 19, 2017. Theta Alpha Kappa is the only national honor society dedicated to recognizing academic excellence in baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate students and in scholars in the fields of Religious Studies and Theology. Induction requires nomination by a local chapter. To be eligible students must have completed at least 12 hours in Religious Studies and/or Theology with a minimum 3.5 GPA and a 3.0 GPA overall and be in the top 35% of their class ranking.

The induction was held at the conclusion of the university’s chapel service on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the Davenport Chapel of the Blanton Center.
