MACU hosts Jack W. Cottrell Lectureship

Mid-Atlantic Christian University invites students, alumni, pastors, and members of the community to attend the Jack W. Cottrell Lectureship on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

This annual lectureship honors the life and legacy of Dr. Jack Cottrell, a respected theologian, apologist, professor, and author whose influence shaped generations of Christian leaders. Dr. Cottrell taught for 49 years at Cincinnati Christian University, authored more than 43 books translated into 15 languages, and stood firmly on the authority of Scripture. His enduring support of Mid-Atlantic Christian University continues to inspire our mission and faithfulness.

This year’s theme is: The Holy Spirit
Guest Speaker: Dr. Mark Moore
Teaching Pastor at Christ’s Church of the Valley in Peoria, Arizona, Dr. Moore is also an online professor for Ozark Christian College and Haus Edelweiss in Vienna, Austria, and a widely published author focusing on the Life of Christ, Acts, and Revelation.

• 10:00 AM – Lecture Session 1
• 11:15 AM – Lunch (Alligood Commons, Mustang Café)
• 12:30 PM – Lecture Session 2
• 1:30 PM – Question & Answer Session
