Bobby Adams to join the faculty at Mid-Atlantic Christian University
Mid-Atlantic Christian University is pleased to announce that Bobby Adams will be joining the faculty at Mid-Atlantic Christian University at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year. Mr. Adams will serve full-time as associate professor of chemistry and physics.
A longtime resident of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Mr. Adams will join MACU after retiring from teaching at College of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City since 1982. At COA, Mr. Adams has served as the department chair of the natural sciences department and held a faculty position as associate professor of chemistry and physics. He completed a master’s degree in chemistry with a concentration in physical organic chemistry at West Virginia University. He holds a B.S. in chemistry from Longwood College (University) in Farmville, VA. He has completed additional graduate hours in physics from Montana State University.
The hiring of Mr. Adams enhances our faculty committed to the university’s new biology major and science education major.
Mr. Adams and his wife are members and active in the TowneSouth Church of Christ in Elizabeth City. Serving in the church in various roles since its founding, he currently oversees the church’s benevolence ministry. The university is excited to welcome Bobby Adams to the school this coming fall.
