Ken Gunselman joins faculty as Associate Librarian and Library Director

Mid-Atlantic Christian University is pleased to announce that Ken Gunselman will be joining the faculty at Mid-Atlantic Christian University in April of this year. Mr. Gunselman will serve as Associate Librarian and Director of the Library.

Mr. Gunselman was born in North Carolina but raised in the Philippines by missionary parents. He is a graduate of Oral Robert University where he received a BA in Communication Arts, Indiana University (MS in Education), and the University of North Texas (M.S. in Library Science).

Ken GunselmanMr. Gunselman brings to the position thirty-three years of experience working in libraries, with over twenty-five of those years being in positions with institutions of higher education (e.g., Faulkner University, Abilene Christian University, Northwestern Oklahoma State University, and most recently York College in Nebraska). Besides his professional service, Mr. Gunselman has served in various capacities in the local church including as a deacon in two Church of Christ (non-instrumental) churches.

He and his wife, Cindi, plan to move to Elizabeth City in April.

All graduates major or minor in biblical studies and may choose a second major or minor in general ministry, youth and family ministry, counseling, elementary education, cross-cultural ministry, nursing, applied linguistics, missions aviation or entrepreneurial leadership.  Students may also earn an associate degree in biblical studies or a certificate in family life education. Mid-Atlantic Christian University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
