Guest Speaker Daryl Reed

Daryl Reed is a lifelong minister whose passion for preaching was ignited during his college years at Western Illinois University. For more than 35 years, he has served in Christian ministry across the country, including Michigan, Illinois, California, Ohio, and the Washington, D.C. region.

Since 2003, Daryl has served as Lead Minister of DC Regional Christian Church, where he is known for thoughtful biblical teaching, steady leadership, and a deep commitment to helping people follow Jesus in everyday life. As the grandson of a Church of Christ preacher, Daryl treasures his Restoration Movement roots while embracing a calling as a bridge-builder—working to promote unity among believers for the sake of the gospel.

In addition to his local ministry, Daryl has served in leadership roles for Christian conferences and conventions across the nation, including Vice President of the North American Christian Convention (2013) and President of the Eastern Christian Conference (2017). He has also served as a board member since 2016 and contributes to student life leadership through committee service.

Daryl and his wife, Charon, live in the Washington, D.C. area and are the proud parents of three sons—Cameron, Harrison, and Wynston. When he isn’t preaching or teaching, Daryl enjoys investing in people, mentoring leaders, and encouraging believers to trust God’s presence through every season of life.
