Mid-Atlantic Christian University Biology Students Earn National Recognition on Field Subject Exam

Jun 2, 2026 | Academic News, News

The Biology program at Mid-Atlantic Christian University demonstrates exceptional academic achievement as students once again earned outstanding results on a nationally normed field subject examination administered to undergraduate biology students across the United States. Each spring, anticipated graduates in the Biology program complete the rigorous exam, which measures student knowledge and competency against peers nationwide. This year, four MACU students took the assessment and achieved remarkable scores.

Titus Bleckley and Tristan Stinson each scored in the 99th percentile, meaning they outperformed 99% of students nationwide who completed the same examination.

Jamison Miller and Landen Miller also earned impressive results, scoring within the 85th to 95th percentile range. These accomplishments continue with a strong tradition of excellence within the MACU Biology program. Last year, two MACU students scored in the 98th and 97th percentiles on the same nationally normed exam. The university credits the success of its students to both their dedication and the commitment of faculty members who invest deeply in student learning and preparation. “Our faculty continue to do an outstanding job equipping students for academic and professional success,” said President John Maurice. “We are grateful for their commitment to excellence and for the way they help students thrive.” Mid-Atlantic Christian University’s Biology program prepares students for a wide range of careers and graduate study opportunities through rigorous academics, hands-on learning, and personalized faculty mentorship.
