2022 Gospel Rally Set for March 17th and 18th

Mid-Atlantic Christian University is excited to announce the return of our Annual Gospel Rally on March 17-18 in Elizabeth City. The University is excited to welcome back family, friends, alumni and supporters of the institution for two days of fellowship and activities.

The University will welcome back multiple honored alumni classes for the event. Due to COVID and the missed opportunities to gather, MACU welcomes back the members of the classes of 1950, 1951, 1952, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1990, 1991, 1992, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2010, 2011, and 2012. That includes not just MACU alumni but also our friends from Eastern Christian College.

The festivities start on Thursday, March 17th as the University will host alumni class gatherings and open gym starting at 6 p.m. We welcome everyone to come out for great fellowship, fun times, and an ice cream social.

The Rally continues on Friday, March 18th with alumni class gatherings at 10 a.m. The Alumni Association will have their annual meeting at 11 a.m. MACU will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Heritage Hall and signing of the floors of the new Dining Hall at 12 p.m. Workshops are going to be offered from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Food trucks, inflatables, corn hole and a shaved ice truck will be on campus from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. The main worship session will start at 7 p.m. inside of Chesson Gym.

Lunch on Friday will be provided by the University and MACU will cover a portion of dinner costs for those who choose to dine with the food trucks on campus.

The main session is headlined by speakers Kevin McNeil, MACU Class of 2013, and Wayne Wagner, MACU Class of 2000. The main session will also have featured videos honoring the life of Ora Jane Alligood, MACU Class of 1965, and former MACU President Bill Griffin, MACU Class of 1962. The University will also unveil the name of the new Dining Hall facility as well as some other special surprises.

For those who wish to come in early to the festivities, housing inside of the Harold C. Turner Hall is available for $20 per person, per night. Please fill out this form in order to reserve your room. Room Reservation Form
