On Thursday, January 22nd, MACU will sponsor a free seminar for minister’s and church leaders on Christianity and Islam. Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world and is second only to Christianity in terms of adherents to its faith.
Is Islam merely another monothesitic religion like Judaism & Christianity?
What principles and belief’s guide radical Islamists?
Where do ideas about ISIS, a caliphate, and terrorist activities originate?
Our lecturer, Dr. Abu Riley (a pseudonym), has spent a good deal of time in the Middle East and is well versed in Arabic studies.
The seminar will be held on Thursday, January 22 from 9:00 a.m. until Noon in the Harold C. Turner Hall Lobby.
