MACU students and staff partnered with the Carolina Christian Youth Convention (CCYC) 2025 in Greensboro, NC, serving in various roles and launching the Next Gen Ministry Search to equip future ministry leaders. Scholarship awards were given to outstanding student participants, reinforcing MACU’s commitment to Christian leadership and education.

Recently, MACU students exemplified this by partnering with Ferocious Fighters, a nonprofit founded by MACU student Patrick Boland. Patrick, who lives with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), transformed his personal challenges into a mission of hope, reaching over 3,000 children in 29 countries. Together, they assemble “Ferocious Fighter Kits”—care packages filled with blankets, handwritten notes, and comforting items to support children battling CRPS. This collaboration not only provides tangible comfort but also fosters a global community of understanding and faith. Patrick’s journey and the students’ involvement reflect the heart of MACU’s commitment to making a meaningful impact beyond the classroom.
