Nishant Walter's Story

From my birth I was given to God to serve Him as the firstborn child in my family. My father is a preacher in the country of India. As a part of a preacher’s family I used to work in the Church day and night. I have seen many hard times in the church.  Experiencing these difficulties started to damage my belief in Jesus to a point where I stopped believing that there was a God. But Jesus said in John “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand”. The owner of this world tried to hammer me down. But when I was about to perish, as Jesus said no one can snatch them out of my hand, Jesus held me in His arms and shook my soul and my brain so hard that I came to realize that no one can take my eternal life and I will never perish.

"It is a blessing to be at MACU."

Dr. Ajai Lall has given me the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful University, Mid-Atlantic Christian University. Since my very first day at MACU I have felt that I am at the right place to start my mission work. The staff and the professors here are so committed to their responsibility of creating extraordinary leaders for the ministry of Christ. I believe that the education that I am getting at MACU will bring a big change in my life.

Since my major is in Preaching, I believe that God will use me to bring more and more people to Christ and help them to receive their salvation and eternal life of peace in Jesus Christ.

As I am getting a chance at MACU to meet lot of energetic people who are in Christ, I am sure we all will work together for God’s Kingdom. Even though we will be far from each other and living in different cultures, through mind and spirit we will all be as one in Christ
