MACU ranked in the Top 5 for all Education Departments to Become a Teacher

To Become a Teacher BadgeElizabeth City, NC – May 1, 2016.  Tom Charlet, editor of a website called ToBecomeATeacher.org recently released the rankings of the top schools in North Carolina that offer educational degrees for students looking to become teachers in North Carolina. MACU was selected as one of the top five programs in the state.

President D. Clay Perkins, Ph.D., remarked, “I am extremely proud of the excellence in all of our academic programs at MACU. Our elementary education program is no exception. ToBecomeATeacher.org developed a process to discover the five top schools that included ranking schools in several categories including return on investment, graduation rate and the total expense of completing their education.
