Northeast Christian Church, an autonomous, nondenominational church in Middletown, 
DE, is seeking a senior minister to provide the church visionary leadership, creative 
biblical teaching, and strategic planning to fulfill the Church’s mission.  Qualified 
candidates should be an immersed believer, subscribe to the principles of the Restoration 
Movement, and have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, graduate degree preferred, from

Full-Time Minister

Tomahawk Christian Church with an average morning worship attendance of approximately 100
is seeking a full-time minister.  We are located in one of the 50 fastest growing counties in the 
country which presents great potential for church growth.  The church is in the Eastern 
Panhandle of West Virginia, approximately 100 miles West of Baltimore, MD and Washington, 
DC as well as 100 miles South of Harrisburg, PA.  The church is within 30 minutes of Northern

Established in 1880, Russellville Christian Church is a non denominational congregation, nestled along the shores of the Santee Cooper Lakes,in the Francis Marion National Forest. We have approximately 200 members on our roll with an average weekly attendance of 75.Our body meets three times each Sunday. These include Sunday school,  Sunday worship and Sunday evening Bible study. We also have a Wednesday night Bible study. We have several meetings and opportunities for our youth to not only worship, but serve in the community.
We are in search for a minister who is uncompromising on the words of God. We are a body that believes the Word of God is authority. We have no creeds but the Bible. Where it speaks, we speak; where it is silent we are silent. The Scriptures are our only rule of faith and practice.We strive to teach and live by the teachings set forth by the early New Testament church. Part-Time Minister

The East Northport Christian Church is seeking a part time Preacher. We are located 40 miles from NYC in East Northport ,Long Island. The village of Northport is an old established community on the picturesque Long Island Sound.

The congregation has a board of trustees to govern till we have Elders once again. We average around 25-30 in attendance on a Sunday morning. We are a mixture of Caucasian and Filipino worshipers. We currently use iSingWorship for our contemporary praise music services and would love to add to the team. We also meet on Wednesday evenings with a small group study. Currently we are reading and studying “The Art of Neighboring” to help us build relationships within our neighborhood communities.

Northern Light Church of Christ 

Northern Light is located in Brooklyn Park, a northern suburb of Minneapolis.  The congregation has been in existence since 1961 (formerly known as Brooklyn Center Church of Christ) and currently has a membership of approximately 100. Our congregation is led by an eldership in place since 2011 and we also have several deacons and ministry team leaders. We are a very diverse congregation and have been blessed with a new building completed in 2007. We also house a K-2 charter school in our building. Our previous minister served us for three years. We are looking for a male candidate that is married and has practical experience in ministry and outreach. Both husband and wife must be faithful Christians and of high moral character. The minister must be a spiritually-minded and prayerful individual. He must also possess significant Bible knowledge and the ability to teach and apply that knowledge appropriately. The congregation desires lessons with practical application to daily Christian living. We are especially interested in someone with successful outreach experience, meeting and studying with those outside the church. He needs to be able to meet and cultivate relationships with a wide range of people including un-churched, seekers, etc., and help motivate the congregation to greater works and fruits of the Spirit.

 

In summary we wish to provide worship and spiritual development that:

  • Deepens members understanding of the source and meaning of the Bible and the Church.
  • Nurtures, uplifts and strengthens individuals to carry on their daily lives.
  • Challenges members to relate the Gospel to the issues and situations that confront them in the world.

Qualifications

In addition to those stated above, other qualifications include:

 

  • An undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Bible, Ministry, Youth Minister, Family Ministry or a related major is preferable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to make persuasive, motivating and effective verbal presentations of biblical and related topics in a variety of situations (classroom, individual teaching situations, etc.)
  • The ability to work with and build rapport with a wide diversity of people and situations to include the eldership, the deacons and ministry team leaders, the Northern Light family, and the un-churched and seekers in our community.
  • The demonstrated ability to solve problems and address issues in a firm, Bible-based, appropriate and discrete manner.
  • A team player who will work and coordinate with Northern Light members and leadership.
  • A demonstrated work ethic, organizational skills, and a willingness to be responsible and accountable to meet measureable objectives.
  • Proficient PC skills and familiarity with the various technologies and internet and social media usage in our growing culture.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word and Power Point)
