Mid-Atlantic Christian University 70th Commencement

May 11, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

June 04, 2019 from 8:45 AM to 3:00 PM

A Fellowship for Senior Saints Date:  Tuesday, June 4, 2019 Time:  8:45 a.m. - Continental Breakfast Location:  Blanton Center - MACU Campus Cost:  $20.00 (Price includes breakfast and lunch) Main Speaker: Jay Banks Ph.D. Theme:  What Have I Done Now - Learning the Lessons of David It doesn’t take too long for us to find out the answer to David’s question from 1 Samuel 17:29.  What we'll discover is, just as David chose five stones to approach Goliath, there are five lessons we need to approach life; to face the "Goliath's" in our lives and conquer. The story of David and Goliath has for centuries been the ultimate example of the underdog versus the big dog; how only a boy named David with only a little sling could defy the odds and emerge victorious. How did he do it? Was it luck? Was it an accident? Was he in the right place at the right time? ABSOLUTELY NOT! David was ready to do what God wanted him to do because he had already learned some very important lessons; life lessons that can empower you and me even today. WhatNow_logo_small.jpg (500x500)px
