Sunday Night Live (SNL) is a FREE event designed for middle and high school students that allows them to come together as a community from a varierty of dfferent places in Eastern North Carolina and Virginia to have fun with MACU students and staff, to worship with different bands, and to hear some words from different speakers.
The first SNL is on August 17, 2014 and will begin around 5PM. SNL is usually a 2-hour event so it will end somewhere around 7PM. Mark your calendars for two more SNL's on November 2 & January 18.
We are excited to have our very own Campus Band leading worship at all 3 SNL's this year. The band includes:
Stephanie Empson (Center) - Lead Vocals | Clint Brothers (2nd from Left) - Lead Guitar/Vocals | Will Lane (Far Left) - Electric Guitar | Mike Fenwick (2nd from Right) - Bass Guitar | Evan Tanner (Far Right) - Drums
Tim Byrne, our speaker for SNL, has been in full time ministry for well over a decade. He is sponsored by numerous companies as a world renowned Pro Freestyle Flatland Skateboarder. Skateboarding in a small 8×8′ section on stages all over the world. Tim has shared the love of Jesus Christ with hundreds of thousands of people. We are excited to bring Tim to MACU because it looks like we are bringing in a person that has been used by God in amazing ways and is very passionate about proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
